My life had stalled and I was in dire need of some CHOCOLATE...you know because of the caffine and antioxidants. Just what I needed to replenish and energize my dying spirit...Or so I thoght. You see, tis chocolate presented itself to me in such a pretty wrapper and I just wanted to tear it off and devour it! But wait...I had done this plety of times befoe and found out that scrumptious looking chocolate was ctually dark and bitter. That treat that I craved so much only ended up weighing me down. So I thought I'd try something different with this candy bar....keep i around for a while to see if it had an EXPIRATION date. For moths I kept this candy bar in a safe place whil countinuously testing it under different conditions. Its color never changed and when I held it...it stayed firm. A chocolate candy bar that can withstand extreme heat conditions...haha...you dont find that everyday. So I MUST have had me a secial piece. UMMMM...Untile it was time for me to totally remove the wrapper and take a bite....IT CRUMBLED!!!
But was it my fault??? Did i put it under so much pressure to be the perfect piece for me that it just couldnt handle it anymore? Should I have just taken a nibble here and there and savored its smooth and creamy texture while allowing it to mollify my insatiable appetite? What I learned from this experience is this...YOU CANNO KEEP CHOCOLATE FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME IN FLUCTUATING TEMPERATURES WITHOUT IT TURNING WHITE AND LOSING ITS CONSISTENCY!!!! If you bite off more than you can chew IT WILL GET HARD TO SWALLOW! And if you dont eat it fast enough, it will get stale. Catch 22? Not necessarily...just find YOUR PACE and relish in the fact that it is yours! :-) Be careful with love...and remember to STAY IN MY CORNER! |
